SLC PROGRAMME LAWYER

Advocate Mosa Letsie is a human rights and development lawyer who holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the National University of Lesotho (NUL). She currently serves as a Programme Lawyer at Seinoli Legal Centre, where she works to advance the rights and legal protections of communities affected by large-scale infrastructure, extractive, and development projects. Her work focuses on human rights, gender equality, women’s empowerment, access to justice, and community-centred advocacy, with particular interest in the intersection of law, development, and social justice. Through a rights-based and intersectional approach, she combines legal analysis, strategic litigation, policy advocacy, and grassroots engagement to strengthen accountability, promote inclusive decision-making, and support meaningful legal and policy reform.

At Seinoli Legal Centre, Adv. Letsie provides legal advice and representation to affected communities, undertakes strategic and public interest litigation, and supports advocacy initiatives aimed at addressing governance gaps and advancing the protection of fundamental human rights. Her work also includes advancing gender justice and advocating for the meaningful participation and inclusion of women in development and governance processes. She has experience representing vulnerable and underserved populations before various Courts of Law and contributing to legal empowerment and rights-awareness initiatives.

Adv. Letsie is particularly interested in the intersection of gender equality, development, and social justice, and remains committed to advancing transformative equality and inclusive development approaches that centre the lived realities and experiences of women and underserved communities.
