Advocate Lerato Rabatho who holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the National University of Lesotho (NUL), Master of Laws Degree in Labour Law from the North West University (NWU), and a Certificate in Compliance Management from the University of Cape Town (UCT) is a senior program lawyer is a senior program lawyer at Seinoli Legal Centre. Her overarching role entails the development and implementation of legal strategies geared toward legal empowerment for communities affected by large development projects in Lesotho such as LHWP and diamond mining.

Her work has contributed immensely to the protection of communities’ rights, leading to livelihood restoration and sustenance. It has also contributed to jurisprudence on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. To this end, she has secured over 5 million maloti worth of compensation for communities affected by LHWP and mining, including the supply of clean water for thousands of people.
