Mr. Chaka Ntsane is an Agronomist, Entrepreneur & Sustainable Development Strategist. He holds an MSc Degree in Agronomy from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom has fourty-five years’ experience of working with agrarian communities in Lesotho and South Africa, providing a unique perspective and extensive knowledge of the communities who are served by SLC. In addition to having been a Board Member of the Africa Platform for Social Protection (APSP) to represent the southern African countries, he has also been a deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development in Southern Africa as well as former President of the South African Society for Agricultural Extension.
He has been a Permanent Secretary, a Government and Cabinet Secretary and an Ambassador. He is former chairman of the National Dialogue Planning Committee (NDPC)of the first phase of the Lesotho Reforms Process and the Lesotho Coalition Government Joint Monitoring and Implementation Committee in 2012.
